NT3HP Project: A Manifesto of Weightlessness and Freedom in the Megacity
The NT3HP apartments by Sirotov Architects completely path the way for a redefined concept of modern urban living, focusing on an internal sense of freedom and absolute weightlessness. In this project, the designers deliberately abandoned the usual strict canons of radical brutalism in favor of a soft, enveloping atmosphere where every line, plane, and light source works to create exceptional comfort.
The main task of the project is to create an enveloping, limitless space filled with air, completely free of any decorative noise, where the sense of premium comfort is achieved solely through flawless architectural form, seamless engineering, and tactile natural materials. The heart of the apartment is an open common space that combines the lounge area, kitchen, and dining group.
The entire lounge area is organized around low-slung modular sofas of a soft spherical shape, placed directly on delicate textile mats. Instead of a bulky TV, the wall is left completely clean—a minimalist white projector is mounted on the ceiling, turning the living room into a private cinema. The kitchen zone is represented by a massive system of hidden storage made of light wood, which is visually perceived as an architectural wall plane. The central element of the kitchen is a monolithic island with a white natural stone countertop, complemented by elegant wooden bar stools.
Comfort in the NT3HP project is achieved not through artificial decor, but thanks to the tactility and flawless quality of selected materials:
Light wood: Adds natural warmth to the space, grounds the interior, and forms a sense of home hearth.
Architectural concrete in warm tones: The signature touch of our bureau, this time implemented in a soft texture that demonstrates the structural strength of the building but does not create a feeling of coldness.
Natural stone: Used as a monumental accent in the kitchen and bathrooms, emphasizing the premium status of the property.
Elite textiles: Massive soft furniture, deep textures of upholstery and curtains work for acoustic comfort, absorbing sounds and creating the atmosphere of an enveloping cocoon.
The private zone of the apartments demonstrates a more radical, conceptual approach to zoning. The main architectural solution of the bedroom is a monumental see-through partition assembled from voluminous ceramic blocks of a square cross-section.
The Monolithic Partition & Structural Functions
This grid wall performs several functions at once:
Zoning without solid boundaries
It separates the sleeping area from the dressing corridor, preserving the flow of air and light.
Lighting direction
A linear LED backlight is integrated into the upper part of the structure. Light, passing through the geometric niches of the blocks, creates a hypnotic play of shadows and fills the room with a soft warm glow.
The sleeping place itself is minimized in height—a low mattress rests on a hidden podium, and authentic round stools made of solid light wood serve as nightstands.
Kids' Room: Intellectual Minimalism for Development
The children's room in the NT3HP project completely destroys stereotypes that a space for a child should be oversaturated with bright colors and plastic details. The architects brought the general philosophy of purity here, adapting it to an active lifestyle. The room is transformed into a functional eco-space for relaxation and development. Instead of a classic play corner, a large-scale wooden sports and play complex is designed here:
Integrated wall bars, monkey bars, and hanging ladders made of noble light wood form a two-level structure above the sleeping place.
A full-fledged mini-climbing wall with multi-colored holds is implemented on the side wall, serving as the only accent splash of color in the entire interior.
The storage system is integrated into a large floor-to-ceiling wardrobe, the lower tier of which is made in the form of open wooden cubes—this allows the child to easily maintain order, leaving their favorite toys and books within reach.
The visual lightness of the NT3HP apartments is the result of complex and meticulous engineering work. To combine complex furniture units, baseboardless systems, flush-mount doors, and integrated climate control, the bureau used advanced three-dimensional modeling technologies.
